education. Parents play a very active role in school through the PTA, KIDDO
and volunteering in the classroom. Besides the Mill Valley public schools, a
number of fine private schools serve the community.
Mill Valley School District
Five elementary schools and one middle school comprise the Mill
Valley School District. The District takes pride in the quality of its

Often compared to a small college campus, Tamalpais High
School sits on a beautifully landscaped hillside overlooking Richardson
Bay.

Southern Marin youth. The students come from the communities of Mill
Valley, Sausalito, Marin City, Bolinas and Stinson Beach. The student body
